PHP Basic Concepts: -

About PHP: - PHP is a open source web development programming language in which we can develop a website. PHP is a wonderful tool to create a dynamic website. This is a software language which is easy to learn. Mostly this language is used in web designing. This is also a secure language.

PHP Basic Concepts: -

1.     PHP script has a startup tag which we can code like following: -

<? php

//your script code here!

?>

The Special PHP tags (less than (<?) and greater than sign (>?) are called special tags of PHP which displays output of the code on browser.

2. PHP Processor: -PHP is basically used to create web application. PHP Hypertext pre processor is a web designing programming language. This Hypertext pre processor is used to develop dynamic concept. The dynamic concept interacts with database.

3.     PHP Versions: -

·       PHP3: -This version of PHP is called hypertext processor which is described above. New API Extension is designed by Zeev and Andi. This new API Extension support for accessing database and spell checker.

·        PHP4 :- PHP4 come with latest paradigm “compile first and execute later while

PHP3 is still parsed scripts and execute later.

PHP5: - This new PHP version comes up with Opps concepts. The XML Rewritten concepts and functionality Puts PHP5on Par, The new XML Simple extension makes easy to maintain XML Doc.
